Anytime Dining

What is it

Anytime Diningmeans that a residential dining plan holder can enter any Residential Dining Hall at any time, as many times as they would like, and eat as much as they care to eat.

Platinum

$5,133 per year

Includes:

  • Enter any Residential Dining Hall at any time, as many times as you would like, and eat as much as you care to eat
  • 10 Guest Passes per Semester
  • 500 Dining Dollars per Semester

Gold*

$4,433 per year

Includes:

  • Enter any Residential Dining Hall at any time, as many times as you would like, and eat as much as you care to eat
  • 6 Guest Passes per Semester
  • 150 Dining Dollars per Semester

Silver

$4,133 per year

Includes:

  • Enter any Residential Dining Hall at any time, as many times as you would like, and eat as much as you care to eat

* The Gold Plan is considered the standard plan and will be used as a default plan whenever an alternate plan is not indicated by a residential student.

Guest Pass

Bring friends & family to the Residential Dining Halls by using a Guest Passand they can eat AS MUCH as they care to eat, too!

Guest Pass(es)** allow dining plan holders to invite their UWM Housing-approved guests entry into the Residential Dining Halls for a predetermined window of time.

  • Guest Pass(es) are offered as a bundled package (with Dining Dollars) when purchased with the Gold or Platinum Anytime Dining Plans.
  • AdditionalGuest Pass(es) can be purchased individually or as a dining plan upgrade (Silver to Gold or Platinum/ Gold to Platinum).
  • AllGuest Pass(es) must be purchased in advance of the guest’s arrival at the Residential Dining Hall and will be redeemed on site for entry into the Dining Hall.

Dining Dollars

Dining Dollars** are funds purchased with your dining plan to be used outside of the Residential Dining Halls and are separate from the Anytime Dining program.

  • Dining Dollarscan be used for food purchases on-campus at a variety of dining locations. When used at these locations, purchases are tax free and may include additional discounts for dining plan participants.
  • Dining Dollarscan be used to make food purchases from any of our on-campus convenience store locations, called RESTOR and the Union Station.

*Unused Dining Dollars and Guest Passeswill roll-over from the Fall Semester to the Spring Semester.Any unused Dining Dollars or Guest Passes remaining at the end of the participant’s Housing contract are non-refundable and will be lost.

Includes:

  • Instant savings of 5% at on-campus restaurants

Requires:

  • Application submission
  • $750 down payment
  • $750 additional added to account by end of year

* Only available to on-campus residents.

Earn Additional Savings

For every700 Dining Dollarsyou spend at on-campus food outlets outside the residence halls, you will receive an additional 1% reward, up to 5%. See below for a breakdown of your potential total savings through D3P:

Your loyalty rewards will be totaled and tracked across each semester for as long as you remain continually enrolled at UWM, allowing you to keep building toward larger savings, but remember: Dining Dollars expire at the end of each academic year without refunds or rollovers.

Summer Dining

What is it?

Summer Dining plans are usually restricted to large groups including camps and conference attendees.

Registration

The camp/event coordinator must provide to UWM UWM Dining and Retail Services:

  • The guaranteed meal period(s) and dates no less than30 business daysprior to arrival.
  • Provide documentation of tax-exempt status no less than30 businessdaysprior to check in.
  • The guaranteed meal period(s).
  • The estimated guest count10 business daysprior to arrival.
  • Finalguaranteed numbers5 business daysprior to arrival.

Rates

Groups will be charged theTotal Number Of Meals, determined by the larger of; final actual meals or final guaranteed number of meals.Overage:Meals used above the Total Number of Meals will be charged at 1.5 x per meal rate.Carry Out: Management reserves the right to limit and/or charge amounts above and beyond the normal dining experience for items carried out.Wisconsin & Milwaukee County Sales Taxof 6% will be added to all meal charges, unless the client/group is tax exempt.

Conferences

Specific information regarding dining services for conferences:

  • Weekday guaranteed minimums for custom service: 25 + meals
  • Weekend guaranteed minimums for custom service: 200 + meals
  • Service times may deviate from the below standard hours schedule, contingent on guaranteed minimums and staff availability.
