How Does Truck Share 24/7 Work?
Truck Share 24/7 reservations are completed using a Live Verification Approval process. This process involves a team of trained and certified specialists who quickly and accurately verify customers during pick up to safeguard the best interests of the customer, community, and company. All you have to do is show your driver's license and credit or debit card to confirm your identity. The process is quick and secure, and only takes a few minutes.
How to Rent a Truck Using Truck Share 24/7
To start your U-Haul Truck Share 24/7 reservation:
- Create an account on the app.
- Reserve your equipment.
- Choose “mobile pick up” when making your reservation.
- Go to your pick-up location about 10 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. Your truck should be ready an hour before the scheduled pick-up time.
- Select “Pick Up My Truck” under your reservation details.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions that we provide to complete the process.

Whether your rental qualifies as a Truck Share 24/7 option depends on your specific requirements. If you schedule your pick up or drop off outside regular business hours, we consider it a self-service rental. If you schedule your pick up or drop off during business hours, we consider it a standard rental, but we encourage that you return the truck using self-return. If you need to change your pick-up or drop-off time, you can easily edit your reservation and convert it to a self-service rental.
